This EARCANDY LITE upgrade cable is designed for the Sennheiser HD-598 headphones.
The EARCANDY LITE headphone upgrade cable breaks new ground in several ways. It's thinner, lighter, and more flexible than its peers. More importantly, it offers transparent signal delivery that was previously unheard of at this price.
The EARCANDY LITE upgrade cable is so compact you can roll it up and slide in your pocket, but it is a very robust and durable cable. The conductors are finely stranded oxygen free copper, insulated with a super low-loss, nitrogen injected foamed polypropylene. Both contribute to the superb fidelity and flexibility of EARCANDY LITE. The entire assembly is encapsulated in a sturdy, flexible braided sleeve to protect your EARCANDY LITE upgrade cable.
The conductors are well isolated from the deleterious effects of radio frequency and electromagnetically induced noise. To minimize any handling noise the outer layer of the cable is designed so that the conductors and the braid float inside. The result is an utterly silent background that will expose a goldmine of previously hidden details in your favorite music and movies.
If you desire more performance from your Sennheiser HD518, HD558, HD595, or HD598 headphones, the EARCANDY LITE headphone upgrade cable is a stunning performer at a stunning price. It's a simple plug and play replacement that will put a big smile on your face.

The HD-598 is in a need for a hq cable that can put give its surround elements a good notch.
With this cable you will experience the HD-598 to be what they have been made for.
The cable itself is very solid. Important is that it is lightweight as the HD-598:s are light, so any heavy plugs or cable will make them uncomfortable to wear.
The cable jacket is of mesh material, which indeed creates vibrating sounds that travel up the ear cups every time the cable hits against any hard material. But that is not much of a concern, and mesh probably makes them more lightweight than if they would have used the original cable jacket that ships with the 598:s,
I pointed it out to support, and they where friendly about changing it, but then stopped responding to me e-mails. Anyway I'm glad I didn't change my mind to replace the mesh, as probably the weight would have gone up.
I'm really happy with this cable, and something any owner of this headphones needs to upgrade to.
